DC FanDome, a virtual event platform created by DC Comics, will be held on Oct. 16, and fans are eagerly awaiting what’s ahead. This morning, a DC FanDome trailer was released.
The execs at DC have already promised some star-studded guests and revealed some of the big titles of films that will be included, but it went one step further today, with the release of its official trailer, available on all of its social media platforms.
The DC FanDome 2021 trailer offers a glimpse at what fans can expect, with everything from movies to TV shows to video games and more featured among the images included. Of particular interest to DC fans are new details about The Batman and Black Adam. The former has a brand-new trailer to hype the movie, while the latter offers the first look of the upcoming movie starring Dwayne Johnson in the titular role.
“DC FanDome 2020 was a first-of-its kind global virtual fan experience and showcased every aspect of the DC Universe with unprecedented scale and access,” said Ann Sarnoff, the chair and CEO of WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group, when this year’s event was first announced. “This year, we’’e taking everything that people loved about DC FanDome and supercharging it to super-serve fans with even more exclusive first-looks, breaking news, in-depth interviews and insight from the stars and creative teams of their favorite DC content.”
In addition to the two buzz-worthy movies, fans can expect to learn more about titles such as The Flash, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
For those looking forward to more about DC’s television landscape, DC FanDome will have news and images from HBO Max’s Peacemaker, DMZ, Aquaman: King of Atlantis and Batman: Caped Crusader. There will also be info about returning shows such as Doom Patrol, Titans, Harley Quinn and Young Justice: Phantoms.
And of course, the CW’s collection of DC hits will be included as well, including Batwoman, The Flash, Superman & Lois, and a special farewell tribute to Supergirl.
