The 2020 Emmy Awards nominations are in and Stranger Things gets the nod for Best Drama Series. 3 seasons have past and they have not disappointed as the young cast continues to battle unseen (or seen) evil forces. The challenges they face, especially for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), become more and more complicated. We’ll see what’s next for them in season 4.
The 72nd Emmy Awards category for Best Drama Series is stacked. Netflix’s Stranger Things up against Mandalorian (Disney+), Better Caul Saul (AMC), The Crown (Netflix), Killing Eve (BBC America), Ozark (Netflix), The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu), and The Succession (HBO). That’s a tough crowd to go against, but to be part of it is pretty cool. The Mandalorian is big competition since they fall in the sci-fi genre. Stranger Thins might be the underdog. We’ll have to wait and see.
Below are some of the other category nominations so far. The complete nominations are to be released by August 31.
