What We Do In the Shadows’ Emmy nominations are nothing short of stunning. The popular mockumentary comedy horror television series is up for 10 different Emmy nominations. Jemaine Clement created the hilarious series that charged onto TV screens in March 2019, on FX. What We Do In the Shadows is based on the mockumentary film by Taika Waititi. It’s now going into its third season after season two debuted in April, 2020 to huge fanfare.
The dark comedy horror follows four vampires living in Staten Island. The housemates include, Kayvan Novak, who portrays Nandor the Relentless, the unofficial ‘leader’ of the house; Matt Berry and Natasia Demetriou portray married vampires Laszlo and Nadja, and Mark Proksch portrays Colin Robinson. Harvey Guillén’s Guillermo, lives with the vampires and works as Nandor’s human assistant.
