With The Walking Dead set to return with the second chapter of its final three parts of its final season on Feb. 20, the show is getting fans amped up with the release of The Walking Dead newest trailer.
With a tag line proclaiming, “New friends. New enemies. New threats. It’s a whole new world,” the hit zombie show previewed some of the action ahead and all the show’s favorites were included.
Part one of The Walking Dead final season dealt with the struggle, starvation, and survival of Alexandria in the aftermath of The Whisperer War, as well as the introduction of the Commonwealth.
In The Walking Dead newest trailer, we learn much more about the goings on inside the Commonwealth, with Deputy Governor Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton) announcing, “We are going to remake the world.”
Eugene (Josh McDermitt) for one doesn’t seem to be settling in too well, though others from his group seem to be enjoying their time much more.
The Walking Dead newest trailer also introduces Governor Pamela Milton (Laila Robins) and shows General Mercer (Michael James Shaw) and his mighty military force—the white-armored soldiers of the Commonwealth Army.
And it appears those soldiers and Alexandria will have a run-in, setting up what’s sure to be an exciting last batch of episodes for the series later this year.
Not that Alexandria won’t have problems before their arrival. For one, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) continue to butt heads, and whether one of them turns on the other is always in question. Meanwhile Daryl (Norman Reedus) will have to deal with his actions against Leah (Lynn Collins) and the Reapers.
Between Mother Nature, the Reapers, and the strange life in the Commonwealth, things seem to crashing around our heroes at every turn in the newest trailer of The Walking Dead Season 11B. One thing’s for sure, it promises to be some compelling TV.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season Part 2 of 3 premieres February 20.
