Fans can now have a first full look at Marvel’s upcoming series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law starring Tatiana Maslany as attorney Jennifer Walters. The first official trailer just dropped online a couple of hours ago.
Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) plays Jennifer Walters who also becomes green and she’s angry. The Marvel Studios and Disney+ series, which is categorized as comedy, follows Walters’ journey to manage her powers while balancing her career as an attorney for superhuman-oriented legal cases, her personal and dating life.
In the full official trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, we see Maslany’s Walters given a very specific niche at work which is probably due to her connections with a certain green Avenger. Having challenges with her own set of powers, she seeks the help of her cousin, Dr. Bruce Banner. When Bruce tells Jennifer to channel anger and fear to transform, she replies that’s “like the baseline for any woman just existing!”
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will focus on Walters being a woman in her 30s struggling to grasp her high-profile career who seems to not want the attention and responsibilities that comes with being a superhero. She may have no choice but to embrace it all. Hopefully, everyone can accept her for who she’s becoming.
Joining Maslany and Ruffalo in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law are Tim Roth returning as Emil Blonsky a.k.a. the Abomination, and Benedict Wong. Wong may have to answer for his underground fighting ring activities he and Blonsky were a part of in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Wong is also coming off fresh from all the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The nine-episode series also stars Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, Jameela Jamil, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. She-Hulk is directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia with Jessica Gao as head writer. Coiro and Gao along with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Brad Winderbaum serve as executive producers for the Disney+.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres August 17th on Disney+. You can watch the full official trailer below.
