Ewan McGregor returns to the Star Wars Universe as the iconic Jedi Master in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show after 17 years. What has Jedi Master Kenobi been up to since we last saw him?
Where Does Obi-Wan Kenobi Take Place in the Star Wars timeline?
The timeline is set between the prequels and original trilogy. According to Disney+, the Obi-Wan Kenobi show takes place 10 years after Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. At the end of the film, we see Obi-Wan go into hiding on Tatooine. This makes Luke and Leia around 10 years old. It’s been a decade now that Anakin Skywalker has turned into Darth Vader. Obi-Wan is now watching over Luke from a distance.

Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
Jedi master Qui-Gon Jin (Liam Neeson) and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi make an emergency stop on Tatooine where they meet a young Anakin Skywalker. Obi-Wan takes the responsibility for training Anakin.
Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones
Obi-Wan Kenobi, now Master to an unstable teen Anakin, goes on a solo mission to Kamino where a clone army is being created. He encounters Jango Fett, Boba Fett’s father. At the end, they both confront Count Dooku (the late Christopher Lee). They both lose to Dooku but are saved by Yoda.
Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
