Over the past few days, Marvel officially released images and details about their upcoming new line of toys for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Thanks to the photos of a Funko Pop! figure, Hasbro Marvel Legends, and Lego sets, we know what Peter Parker’s suit may or will look like in No Way Home. We also know that Peter Parker will be wearing a suit called “Integrated Suit,” and based off the figure, it could give fans some hints at some new powers for Spider-Man.
There’s not a lot of information about Peter’s “Integrated Suit” and what is actually integrated into it. But Looking at the image, there’s a big clue as to what Spidey’s new abilities are. At least for this third Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The suit seems to be integrated with Doctor Strange’s mystical abilities in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Perhaps, some kind of magic. Take a close look at the image below. Especially at the chest logo and web shooter on the wrist.
The Funko Pop! figure shows some kind of mystical energy emitting from Parker’s chest. Similar to the energy that emits from the Eye of Agamotto that Doctor Strange wears around his neck. Spidey’s web shooters on his wrist also seem to have some form of magic coming out of them also. The circular design with lines and patterns also mimic the same energy that other Masters of the Mystic Arts have.
Based off the Spider-Man: No Way Home Lego set, Peter will be spending some time in the Sanctum Santorum with Doctor Strange. There’s no sign of Wong though. He may be busy earning some extra cash fighting in some kind of Marvel fight club. Even having been in outer space and fighting Titans and aliens, magic spells and multiverses may be something Parker will be dealing with in No Way Home. He’ll be going up against some problems he’s never dealt with before.
Spider-Man in the MCU is no stranger to getting suit upgrades. Each appearance he’s had, Peter has had most of his suits modified by Tony Stark, each with different abilities. The Iron Spider may be the most advanced out of all of them. His suits have consistently given Peter to do more and more. So in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it only makes sense that Doctor Strange, in his own magical way, will upgrade Peter’s suit with some mystical energy to use against their latest foe — and also for Peter’s own protection.
Will have to wait until November 17, 2021 when Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in theaters to see what magic Marvel Studios has done for Peter Parker’s latest suits.
