Marvel fans woke up to some big announcements this morning when a brand-new video from Marvel Studios gave a glimpse of what’s to come in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Stan Lee Will Always Be With Us
The video celebrates the passion of storytelling and the MCU’s most memorable moments like Chris Evan’s Captain America finally saying “Avengers assemble” as all the heroes charge towards Thanos’ army. The video opens with an emotional intro from the late Stan Lee stating:
“I love being with people; it’s the most incredible feeling in the world. That world may change and evolve, but the one that will never change – we’re all part of one big family,” while scenes from Marvel Studios’ Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Avengers, Black Panther, and others show.
“That man next to you; he’s your brother,” continues Lee. “That woman over there; she’s your sister. We’re all part of one universe that moves ever upward and onward to greater glory.”
Marvel Studios Shares Crowd Reaction From Avengers: Endgame Opening Night
One of the best parts of the Marvel Celebrates The Movies video is footage from a theater during the opening night of Avengers: Endgame. The viral moment shows the crowd erupt as the Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes emerge from portals to fight against Thanos and his army. It truly is a nostalgic moment for Marvel fans to see that again.
Marvel Studios saved the best part of the video by giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come in phase 4 of the MCU. More Black Widow footage was shared along with scenes from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Fans finally get to see some footage from the highly-anticipated Marvel Studios’ Eternals starring Richard Madden, Kit Harrington, Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Millie Bobby Brown, Kumail Nanjiani, Ma Dong-seok, Salma Hayek, Barry Keoghan, and Brian Tyree Henry. Eternals is directed by Oscar winning director, Chloé Zhao.
The video closes with a montage of other upcoming Marvel Studios films and their release dates like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Marvels, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quanumania, James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3, and Fantastic Four.
