Teddy is seen scribbling in his notebook. A news broadcast is on in the background detailing the worsening zombie pandemic. A moment passes by then Teddy looks back at his mother’s picture. With a look of uncertainty, he continues to write in his notebook. A disruption occurs down the hall when security guards forced a man down death row to receive his sentence.
“Don’t be afraid, George. Don’t be afraid,” Teddy called from behind bars. “Remember, the end is the beginning. You’re about the be given a new life.”
“Do you actually believe all the bullshit you spew, Maddox?” a prison guard snapped back. When Teddy neglected to respond, he added, “Get it all out. You’ll be walking this walk soon enough.”
Teddy just smiled and went back to his bed, chuckling. Time passes and while Teddy is eating, he hears another disturbance. Cell doors opened and screams were heard in the hallways. Walkers have emerged and attacked loose inmates trying to run away. When zombie guard entered Teddy’s cell, he made sure to end it quick.
Teddy, unphased by the zombie attack, he grabs his mom’s picture and said, “I was right! I was right! I just needed to be patient.”
