That’s a wrap! The filming of Cobra Kai Season 4 has officially wrapped, meaning that all filming is finished. The explosively popular show will be continuing its saga on Netflix later this year.
Who Stars in Cobra Kai?
Actors of Cobra Kai are stoked that their hard work is finally complete. The show stars William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Xolo Mariduena, Courtney Henggeler, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, and Martin Kove. Co-creator Jon Hurwitz announced on Twitter that they’d finished filming just this week, which means that it won’t be long until the show is available to stream. Fans are excited to see what Cobra Kai 4 has in store, especially since its popularity boom shortly after season 3.
This season, the show will be available for streaming on Netflix, instead of Youtube Premium, where its former seasons aired. Season 4 is currently slated for a Q4 2021 release.

What Happened in Season 3?
Season 3 left a lot of plotlines hanging by a thread. The stakes were raised mega high when the dojo war between Johnny Lawrence (Zabka), Daniel LaRusso (Macchio), and John Kreese (Kove) entered black-belt levels. Though the two younger sensei did decide to band together against Kreese, the dispute remains unsettled. This feud also included multiple felonies, as Kreese doesn’t shy away from cheating.
What Can Fans Expect from Season 4?
Come Season 4, fans can expect to see a lot more of Tory Nichols (List), the fiery-tongued karate prodigy, as well as more screen time from Miguel’s mother Carmen Diaz (Vanessa Rubio). It is also likely we’ll catch up with the dojo war at the All-Valley Tournament. Other major moments include Johnny and Carmen’s blossoming romance, a fan-favorite, a reunited Miguel and Sam, and Robby switching dojos out of spite.
We theorize some classic characters from the original Karate Kid franchise could make an appearance, too. Fans are hoping for The Karate Kid Part III arch nemesis Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), or maybe even the show-stopping star from The Next Karate Kid, Julie Pierce (Hilary Swank).
Will There Be Any Big Changes to the Show?
The biggest change to the show is that award-winning stunt coordinators Hiro Koda and Jahnel Curfman are no longer a part of it. Even still, we believe this upcoming season could really kick it out of the dojo. There are so many characters and individual plotlines to pick up from!
