Deadpool became an X-Men (trainee) in the second film, now he becomes an Avenger. Not just an Avenger. He becomes all of them. Artist Even Gürocak’s fan art re-imagines the Merc with a Mouth as each original Avenger in the MCU. And they’re quite amazing.
Ever since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in 2019, comic book fans have been wondering when and how Deadpool will make his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With now confirmation that Ryan Reynolds will in fact reprise his role as Wade Wilson for the third Deadpool film under the Disney/MCU brand, fans have also been wondering if they’ll keep the “R” rating.
No worries though. In November, Deadline’s Justin Kroll reported Disney will keep the adult rating. They also hired Bob Burger’s writing duo and sisters, Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin, to write the screenplay.
Since the news, social media has been flooded with Deadpool 3 fan art. Now, Gürocak’s art has Deadpool looking like the original six Avengers: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye.
