Tom Holland In For Some Rough Roads in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Tom Holland Peter Parker will be left both “bloody” and “bruised" in the events of in Spider-Man No Way: Home according to IRL father.

Although there’s not been a lot of teasers about the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film, a few rumors have trickled out here and there, and it looks like Marvel Studios will have another blockbuster on its hands.

One thing that recently made its way around social media concerns Spider-Man himself, and the difficult time he’s in for in the sequel.

According to Dominic Holland, the real-life father of the man behind Spider-Man’s mask, Tom Holland, the events of the new film will leave Peter Parker both “bloody” and “bruised.”

During an interview with BBC Radio London, the elder Holland shared that Spider-Man: No Way Home will feature a lot more bloody fight scenes than the previous films. Telling the station that he saw a glimpse of what to expect when he video-phoned his son, Dominic Holland said things didn’t look pretty.

“I was out walking the dog, and he caught me on FaceTime and we had a chat,” Tom’s dad said. “His face is all bruised, and all bloody, he’s obviously making a movie.”

Although he wouldn’t give any details to why his son’s character looked like that—not surprising considering all the secrecy the actors are sworn to, fans can surmise that it probably has something to do with the villainous Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).

During a post-credit scene in the last film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, fans learned that Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, framed Spider-Man for his murder and outed Parker’s secret identity to the world.

This will most likely create some problems for the high school student and his heroic alter-ego. While some things that Marvel and Sony have released show footage of citizens defending the web-slinger, others are definitely believing Mysterio’s lies and seem against Spider-Man.

Dec. 17 can’t come soon enough, as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man hits the big screen then.
