New set photos from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home show a closer look at Peter Parker’s new Spidey suit.
There’s really not a whole lot of difference from the Spider-Man: Far From Home suit Peter created himself towards the end of that film. Both share the black and red color combo, which went away from the traditional red and blue that we’ve all become familiar with. It also looks like the dark-blue accents from the previous version are gone.

The MCU’s Spider-Man is no stranger to suit upgrades. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker have had at least 5 suits including the upcoming version. The first being the Stark-designed tech suit introduced in Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming. He got the really awesome Iron Spider upgrade in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and into Spider-Man: Far From Home. You can even count his stealth suit aka Night Monkey suit from his second solo outing. Then he upgraded later in third act of Far From Home when he designed his own suit. And now the suit from the Spider-Man: No Way Home set images.
Will Spider-Man: No Way Home explore the Spider-Verse?
Though not a lot has been shared regarding the story, there’s been a lot of rumors about additional casts and possible plot theories such as a Spider-Verse. Ever since rumors got out about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield being on set, the rumor mill never stopped turning. Though recently, Holland denied their appearances in the film.
Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is supposedly confirmed to be joining the film along with Jamie Foxx’s Electro from Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octavius/Doc Ock from Maguire’s Spider-Man 2. With Cumberbatch, Fox and Molina’s involvement, the story potentially points to some kind of multiverse. Especially with Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness to follow right after No Way Home. Even the WandaVision finale suggests that realities may have been altered with Agatha Harkness and the second post-credit scene hinting at the possibilities.
Another name thrown into the mix is Charlie Cox. Rumor has it Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil was on set and already finished filming his scenes. The Daredevil rights returned to Marvel Studios following Netflix cancellation of the Daredevil series in 2018.
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina and Benedict Cumberbatch. No Way Home debuts December 17th, 2021.
