Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings released its “one-week” countdown teaser to hype of Marvel fans. The latest Shang-Chi trailer reveals a lot of action, showing off a little more of Shang-Chi’s (Simu Liu) epic battle against his father, Xu Wenwu (Tony Leung) aka the Mandarin. It also shows the Ten Rings that are at the center of this MCU mythology.
The Shang-Chi promo also delivers a brief moment of Awkwafina’s comedy relief as Katy — Shang-Chi’s buddy. You can also here Rick Ross’s “Run It” in the background to help hype up fans.

Th One-Week Shang-Chi countdown trailer teases Marvel fans with the rise of the next Marvel legend. “In one week, a new Marvel legend will rise! Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hits cinemas September 3.”
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is in a pivotal moment for the movie industry. The COVID-19 pandemic has really crippled the box office industry, and now the Delta Variant is threatening movie theater releases even more. Marvel Studios was hoping the Shang-Chi film would be a world-wide box office hit. Now the entire movie industry (not just Disney and Marvel Studios) is just hoping Shang-Chi will make enough money to justify other film releases so no more release dates get delayed.
According to Comicbook.com’s review, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s best origin stories to date, filled with stunningly choreographed action, unexpected laughs, and a whole lot of heart. Even if you’re unfamiliar with the Shang-Chi comics, this film is worth seeing on the big screen. And be sure to stick around for both the mid-credits and post-credits scenes, which are guaranteed to please any Marvel fan. With the addition of Simu Liu, Awkwafina, and Meng’er Zhang, the future of the MCU is looking bright.”
