Marvel Studios released new character posters from the upcoming Loki series on Disney+. The posters feature Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer. You can see all Loki character posters below. Marvel continues to roll out promotion efforts for the Loki series, which is set to debut in about two weeks from now, with new promotional materials and footage to excite their fans.
So far from what we know, the Loki series follows a variant or version of the Asgardian god of mischief who escaped with the Tesseract from the Avengers of 2012 in Avengers: Endgame during the time heist. After Tony Stark and Scott Lang successfully sneak into the building and follow the 2012 Avengers down to the lobby, the heist goes awry after an angry Hulk comes smashing through elevator doors. Loki sees the Tesseract slide towards him, picks it up, and teleports away.
Loki Will Have To Fix The Timeline He Broke
The Time Variance Authority, which we’ll find out more about when the series starts, captures Loki and gives him the assignment of fixing the timeline he “accidentally” broke by not returning the Tesseract. This is Marvel Studios’ opportunity to introduce different versions of its characters from the multiverse.

We know this isn’t the Loki that evolved into the version who fans have come to love. Who knew back in 2012 when he got his butt handed to him by the Hulk would actually say “we have a Hulk” in Avengers: Infinity War. Here’s to hoping the version in this series will eventually have the same character development.
Michael Waldron serves as head writer for the Loki series and was also the one responsible for developing the show for Disney+. The 6-episode season is directed by Kate Herron. The series premieres Wednesday, June 9th, 2021. Are you looking forward to seeing Loki in his own show?
