Thor: Love and Thunder star Chris Hemsworth confirmed he’s filming this week. He shared photos of him and his family on Instagram vacationing before shooting the fourth film in the Thor franchise.
“Great to get away for a few days to @visitlordhoweisland before starting on #thorloveandthunder this week!” captioned Hemsworth.

Suffering through feelings of failure for not defeating Thanos and losing half his Asgardian people, Thor falls in some kind of depression. He retreated to New Asgard to do nothing, but drink beer and play video games where his greatest foe was Noobmaster69. He finally gets convinced when Banner and Rocket pay him a visit. When it finally came to facing Thanos from the 2014 timeline, he was in no shape to fight. Fortunately, a worthy Captain America saved Thor from having his own axe, Stormbreaker, pressed into his chest.
The Guardians of the Galaxy are expected to make an appearance in the movie. Thor is expected to pass the torch to Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and she’ll become Lady Thor.
Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Tessa Thompson and Jaimie Alexander. Christian Bale will star as the villain Gorr the God Killer.
Love and Thunder is expected to release May 6, 2022.
