The Jurassic World Dominion official trailer dropped today. The latest film in the recent trilogy will serve as the last chapter in the Jurassic Park franchise. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World Dominion was made during the pandemic and after its original release date pushed, the film by Universal Pictures will finally roam theaters on June 10.
The Jurassic World Dominion trailer starts with scenes showing how dinosaurs have been surviving and thriving alongside humans—and in snow. The latest installment to the $5 billion franchise sees the return of characters from the original Jurassic Park film.
Ian Malcolm played by Jeff Goldblum says, “We’re racing toward the extinction of our species.”
“We not only lack dominion over nature,” Malcolm adds, “We’re subordinate to it.”
Jurassic Park Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar was destroyed. Dinosaurs now co-exist with humans. They live and hunt all over the world. Jurassic Park Dominion will finally answer if this fragile balance will reshape the world and finally determine if humans will remain the top of the food chain on a planet they now share with apex predators they created.
The Jurassic World Dominion trailer featured a plethora of dinosaurs, but the eyes were on three specific humans. The original Jurassic Park stars, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are back together for the sixth chapter in the franchise who started it all in Steven Spielberg’s original blockbuster from 1993.
Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), Daniella Pineda (Dr. Zia), Justice Smith (Franklin), Omar Sy (Barry), are back. The film also features new cast members DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Emmy nominee Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Scott Haze (Minari) and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2).
The Jurassic World Dominion trailer was expected to debut during the Super Bowl, but now you don’t have to wait until Sunday. You can watch the trailer below.
