Joseph Quinn of Stranger Things 4 recently attended the London Film and Comic Con where he interacted with many Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) fans and became emotional during a Q&A session.

The Stranger Things 4 breakout star became an instant fan-favorite for his performance as Eddie in the most current season of the hit Netflix show. With a likable personality, the Hellfire Club leader chose to stay and fight until the end in the Stranger things 4 season finale.

At the London Film and Comic Con, Joseph Quinn was brought to tears as one of the attendees of the convention stood up to thank him for sharing a lot of his time with the fans. According to BuzzFeed, security hounded the Stranger Things star for interacting with fans for too while while signing memorabilia. Reports say the event oversold tickets to the meet-and-greet with Joseph Quinn. The security wanted to move the guests as quickly as possible. The actor apparently chatted with his fans for longer than what security wanted.

“The way Joseph Quinn was treated at LFCC is [expletive] disgusting,” one comic con guest wrote on social media “Staff fully yelled at him to shut the fuck up and to just sign and not to interact with fans [because] they over sold and couldn’t get all people seen.”

But the emotional moment came during a larger Q&A session with Joseph Quinn of Stranger Things 4. One fan stood up and shared her gratitude towards the actor.

“Mine’s not really a question, it’s just more an extension of gratitude. A lot of us have heard of what happened yesterday, whether it’s true or not, about how you were treated. I really want to say, we’re really grateful that you’re sharing your time. Thank you for signing our things, for spending time with us and making our summer.”

The attendee added, “I think we’ve all connected to Eddie for one reason or another,” the fan added. “Whether we like his taste in music, or that he’s the outsider. I think all of us are a part of Eddie. We’ve travelled far because we really connected with you as well and you made our weekend.”

Quinn can be seen becoming emotional over the fan appreciation as tears rolled down his face. He wiped the tears away and quipped, “Why’d you do that?”
