‘Iron Man’ Robert Downey Jr. is the next Avenger to send dog-attack hero, Bridger Walker “something special”. First, it was ‘Captain America’ Chris Evans, then the ‘Mighty Thor’ Chris Hemsworth. Other Avengers like ‘Spider-Man’ Tom Holland and ‘Hulk’ Mark Ruffalo also praised Bridger for his heroism in the real world.
Bridger stopped a dog from attacking his 6-year-old sister, but suffered a gruesome bite injury to his cheek which would take a 2-hour surgery and 90 stitches. His aunt would post his heroic act and recovery catching the attention of celebrities.
“Bridger, you’re a rock star,” said Downey Jr. “My name’s Robert Downey Jr., I play ‘Tony,’ that makes me an old friend of Cap’s. I heard he sent a shield your way: I’m going to do one better. You call me on your next birthday, I got something special for you. ‘Late. By the way – that’s a promise; a promise beats a shield.”
Looks like Stark is still not over Rogers not signing those accords. Either way, it takes a hero to recognize one. Way to go, Bridger!
