The 80th Golden Globe Awards nominees were announced Monday. Lopez vs. Lopez stars Mayan Lopez and Selenis Lopez announced the nominees from film and television categories selected by the Hollywood Press Association (HFPA).
The Oscar-contender The Banshees of Inisherin starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, leads the film categories with nominations including best musical or comedy film.
The Golden Globes ceremony, which was not broadcasted last January due to the controversy surrounding the HFPA, will return January 10, 2023 on NBC. Comedian Jerrod Carmichael will host.
The 2023 Golden Globes has added anime to its line-up. The Best Motion Picture – Animated category made the surprising decision with the help from GKIDS. Anime feature film, Inu-Oh is nominated for the award alongside Disney’s Turning Red and Netflix Original film Pinocchio by Guillermo Del Toro.
