Pretty much everyone has a bucket list of some sort. Things like skying diving, swimming with dolphins, eating at a world-renowned restaurant somewhere in Europe, etc. Now you can add Godzilla zip lining to your bucket list. Specifically, zip lining into Godzilla’s mouth. Sounds exciting, right?
Nijigen no Mori, a theme park located on an island close to Kobe, Japan is giving you a chance to do just that. Zipline into Godzilla’s mouth. The Japanese theme park debuted its Godzilla attraction this weekend. It’s the only place you can jump feet first into a life-sized Godzilla head and come out the other end (not that end you’re thinking about) undigested.
The kaiju attraction, Godzilla Interception Operation Awaji, opened its doors to fans October 10th. Like most theme parks, the attraction starts with an in-universe movie alerting the public that a kaiju invasion is happening. Attendees will take the role of researchers and go on a journey to learn more about the giant creature. After the death defying zipline ride into the 75-foot-tall Godzilla replica, they can visit a kaiju museum or play a shooting gallery game. Additionally, they can even treat themselves to some Godzilla-themed food. Mothra snack, anyone?
So if you’re adding things to your bucket list and a trip to Japan is one of them, make sure to drop in and pay a visit to the king of the monsters. You can experience the same excitement and fear this reporter below witnessed.
This would be such an awesome conversation piece. The next time you’re with friends, Godzilla zip lining would be something to talk about with them.
