Fear The Walking Dead Filming Where We Last Saw Madison Clark

The last time we saw Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) was in a fourth season episode, “No One’s Gone”, where she seemed to have died. In that episode, Madison set fire to a zombie horde that was invading a stadium that was turned into a community for survivors. We never really saw the body. According to Comicbook.com, Fear The Walking Dead filming returns minutes away from the place where Madison appeared to have died.

Fear season 4 was filmed in Austin, Texas and nearby Round Rock where the Dell Diamond baseball stadium was turned into the post-apocalyptic safe haven.

According to a notice posted on City of Round Rock website, filming returns to Round Rock on Tuesday, February 2. See the posted message below:

“Chisholm Trail Road will be closed between Old Settlers Boulevard and US 79 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2. AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead” has requested the closure in order to film a scene for their upcoming season. The show has a history of filming in Round Rock as Dell Diamond served as the set for season 4 of the hit show. Detours will be in place for the duration of the road closure and drivers should expect minor delays.”

Chisholm Trail Road is less than 10 minutes from Dell Diamond where Madison Clark seemed to have died. Fear The Walking Dead season 6 may have hinted Madison survived. She may be the mystery person who saved Morgan (Lennie James) in the season 5 finale.

“There’s always a chance [Madison returns],” showrunner Ian Goldberg told ComicBook.com in November. “We can’t say much else about who saved Morgan, other than we saw the note. We saw that it was someone with an ulterior motive who said that Morgan still had things to do. It’s someone that Morgan doesn’t know. We know that from the note, also.”

Executive producer and The Walking Dead Universe chief content officer, Scott Gimple, told fans to “keep hope alive” regarding Madison Clark possibly returning. Showrunners Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss told Insider, “Well… we never saw her body. And Madison herself said, ‘No one’s gone until they’re gone.’”

In Fear’s season 6 midseason finale, “Damage From The Inside,” Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) spoke about returning to the stadium to escape Virginia (Colby Minifie) and referenced the location.

AMC confirmed Fear The Walking Dead season 7. Fear season 6 is on a midseason break and will return with nine new episodes starting Sunday, April 11 on AMC.
