Could we see the entire Sinister Six that comic fans have been clamoring for?
Every Spider-Man Villain Seen In The Trailer
Alfred Molina as Doc Ock
It’s no surprised as Doc Ock, who Alfred Molina played in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, battling Maguire, will be back for the new movie. Molina confirmed his return a few months ago and we also saw him from the first No Way Home trailer. Though last we saw the brilliant scientist, he was changing his ways and sacrificed himself for the greater good.
Jamie Foxx as Electro
Then there’s Electro, played by Jamie Foxx in Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man series, who will also be returning. The villain never got the treatment he deserved in the minds of many Marvel fanatics, so it will be fun to see how his character is fleshed out. The trailer shows an updated costume with the familiar yellow spikes across his face that comic fans wanted to see.
Thomas Haden Church as Sandman
Next up is Thomas Haden Church as Sandman, who appeared in Maguire’s final film as Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3. The man responsible for Uncle Ben’s death has long been a major foil for our hero.
The Lizard
Also confirmed is the villainous The Lizard, also from The Amazing Spider-Man series. Rhys Ifans played the role in the past, but it was unclear in the trailer if he was back, though it’s assumed he will be considering all the other returns.
Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin
Finally, Spider-Man’s most notorious foe, the Green Goblin will be causing some havoc in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Willem Dafoe is expected to reprise the role, though James Franco did play the New Goblin opposite Maguire, and Dane DeHaan donned the outfit in Garfield’s version.
With the film still about a month away, don’t be surprised if news of other infamous villains come to light, as Spider-Man: No Way Home is shaping up to be one of the most exciting Marvel movies ever.
