Disney+ has already created plenty of buzz with its partnership with Marvel Studios, which has produced the incredible popular WandaVision, and many other new shows set to come.
But now the streaming network is ready to launch a new documentary series that will delve even deeper into the shows and characters that fans love.
According to the Marvel Studios Twitter feed, Disney+ will launch the show on March 12 with a behind-the-scenes look at WandaVision.
“Marvel Studios’ Assembled, a new documentary series of specials, goes behind the scenes of the shows and movies of the MCU,” the tweet noted, adding the WandaVision episode will begin streaming on March 12.
This is one week after the last episode of WandaVision is scheduled to air, and the show will fill the gap until the upcoming debut of its next MCU project, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will air on March 19.
According to CBR.com, the Assembled documentary will allow fans an opportunity to get a never-before-seen look at things behind WandaVision, and will feature the cast and creators talking about how the suburban drama was brought to life. Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, Kathryn Hahn, Kat Dennings and Randall Park are all scheduled to appear.
The documentary series is expected to continue as other shows get introduced and will further enhance the content of the MCU universe.
Of course, there’s still three more episodes of WandaVision to go before we get to the documentary, and there’s a lot of pieces still to sort out on the surprising drama.
For one, fans are still trying to figure out who the real villain is on the show and how much of what we’re seeing is real—if any of it at all. And with the last episode concluding with Wanda extending her hex shield past Westview, taking in S.W.O.R.D. agents and Darcy Lewis in the process, things only seem to be getting more exciting.
