See the Comic-Con@Home What We Do In The Shadows virtual panel featuring the hilarious cast – Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Kayvan Novak, Mark Proksch, and Harvey Guillén, and the creative team. The panel is moderated by Haley Joel Osment. Yes. The kid who sees dead people.
The Hollywood Reporter calls What We Do In The Shadows “TV’s best comedy”. With 2 seasons done, the executive producers Paul Simms and Stefani Robinson tease season 3 saying they know what’s going to happen. The season will focus on the roommates searching for something. Almost like a search for who they really are.
“If there’s any preview we can give about Season 3, it’s that [the roommates] all have something that they’re searching for.” Simms said.
Adding Nandor “might be looking for love” and Colin Robinson “still doesn’t know how he became an energy vampire.”
SPOILER ALERT
The last time we saw the Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, Colin and Guillermo were at the Noveau Théâtre Des Vampires. The roommates thought they had a special invitation only to find out it was a trap for them to be killed for escaping the vampire council in season 1. Then Guillermo swoops in like a superhero and saves the day (actually the night) killing most vampires that were attending the event. Nandor’s familiar finally revealing himself to the rest of the crew, we expect a shocking reaction. But Nandor gives another “Nandor” answer telling Guillermo he forgot to pick up their laundry.
The creative team on the virtual panel also teased season 3 to have “new duties” for the characters as well as “creatures that live on edifices…” hinted by executive producer Stefani Robinson. Simms adds that “The vampires do get a hellhound to protect them. That’s all I’m saying!”. What We Do In The Shadows returns May 2021 on FX.
