Cobra Kai Season 4 trailer just teased an upcoming clash between dojos while showing the return of The Karate Kid III villain, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) who is out to make Daniel (Ralph Macchio) bleed again. The season 4 trailer also teases the question — Can Johnny (William Zabka) and Daniel teach a combined version of their karate styles?
It will all come down to the 51st Annual All-Valley Under-18 Karate Championship, and those in charge seemed to have made some controversial change to the format. No details were revealed, so we’ll have to find out when the Netflix hit-series Cobra Kai season 4 premieres December 31st.
As Cobra Kai season 4 trailer revealed the return of Terry Silver, he will be the upcoming season’s big callback character. Silver’s origin story with John Kreese (Martin Kove) was actually shown through a series of flashbacks in the third season of Cobra Kai.
Fans growing up watching the original franchise might remember Silver as the big-bad from 1989’s The Karate Kid III. He persuaded Daniel to join Cobra Kai when Mr. Miyagi (the late Pat Morita) refused to train Daniel. The Cobra Kai season 4 trailer suggests Silver And Daniel still have unfinished business.
The season 4 trailer also suggests that Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan) will play more of a central role in the upcoming season. Perhaps his conflicts with his father, Johnny Lawrence, and Daniel will result in resentment towards them fueling his anger to fight against Miyagi-Do. There is also Tory (Peyton List). Her feud with Samantha LaRusso (Mary Mouser) will most likely continue in season 4’s story.
In addition to the cast members mentioned above, characters returning include Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), Hawk (Jacob Bertrand), Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo), Amanda LaRusso (Courtney Henggeler), Carmen Diaz (Vanessa Rubio), and Kyler (Joe Seo).
All 10 episodes of Cobra Kai season 4 will become available on December 31 on Netflix. Check out the season 4 trailer below.
