Move over Wanda Maximoff. A Agatha Harkness show in the works over at Disney Plus from Marvel Studios. Now this is some chaos magic! WandaVision star Kathryn Hahn could return as the breakout evil witch of 2021.

The ancient sorceress who manipulated Wanda in Westview to open up her ability to use chaos magic is making her solo debut. According to Variety, the Agatha Harkness series is described as a dark comedy, though exact details remain hidden, but WandaVision head writer Jac Shaeffer will return as the spinoff show’s writer and executive producer.

As with all Marvel projects in development, Marvel Studios along with reps for Shaeffer and Hahn have their lips sealed as they did not immediately respond to Variety’s request for comment.

In the WandaVision series, Kathryn Hahn started playing the role of Agnes, Wanda and Vision’s nosey neighbor. The kind who likes to get in everyone’s business and spread gossip. She eventually revealed her true identity as Agatha Harkness. In the Marvel Comics, Agatha would survive the Salem Witch Trials and seems to be more than a match for Wanda. The last time we saw Agatha in the WandaVision finale was when Scarlet Witch traps her in Westview by using her powers to force Agatha back to her Agnes persona. Agatha was no longer aware of herself as a centuries-old witch.

Whether or not the spinoff show will touch on what becomes of Agatha Harkness after the events of WandaVision, or go into detail with her past life as the witch before Westview, remains to be seen.

But there seems to be a lot left of Agatha’s story to tell. And getting more Kathryn Hahn having the magical time of her life is a good move for Marvel Studios and Disney Plus. This might not happen anytime soon so in the meantime, we’ll enjoy some bows and arrows with the Hawkeye series premiering next month along with upcoming Disney+ projects coming sooner than later.
