With just two weeks left to go until the much-anticipated release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, an IMAX trailer was released giving fans another look at what’s to come—in a bigger way.
According to IMAX, its larger screen experience will show 26% more picture throughout the MCU’s third solo film for the web-slinger. This will give viewers an even more immersive experience as Tom Holland (and maybe Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) swing into action against at least five confirmed Spider-Man villains. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star recently revealed to TV Globo that the fight sequences are unlike any other from previous Spider-Man films.
“There are some fight scenes in this movie that are very violent,” Holland explained. “And it’s a fighting style different from what we’ve seen before. But really you will get to see Spider-Man using his fists in a ‘fight or run’ situation.”
Last month, a new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer was released and revealed the return of some villains from the past Spider-Man franchises. It’s now for sure that the new film will included Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin and Alfred Molina as Doc Ock who return to their roles from Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2. Jamie Foxx also returns as Electro, his role from Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Tom Holland still denies that Maguire and Garfield are in the movie.
“It would be amazing if they were because they haven’t told me that yet and I am Spider-Man and I’ve read the script from the beginning to the end … So it would be a miracle if they could keep that from me,” Holland previously said.
As for advance ticket sales, Spider-Man: No Way Home ended up having the most since Avengers: Endgame. And now, people are trying to re-sell tickets on Ebay for a crazy amount of money.
It’s probably safe to say that many fans will watch No Way Home on IMAX, so it’s no surprise the latest trailer for the Marvel film was released for the biggest theater screens.
“Even in the multiverse, there’s only one way to experience #SpiderManNoWayHome. Experience 26% more picture only in IMAX theatres. The high-flying action swings onto the big screen December 17,” @IMAX tweeted. You can check out the trailer below:
