It looks like Wanda, Vision and the episode 5 surprise cameo aren’t the only characters the fans have love for. Since Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) showed up in the fourth episode, people have not stopped talking about him. All the hype has become a viral movement to a point where Jimmy Woo may get his own show.
According to Comicbook.com, actor Stephen Ford revealed that he was given the green light by Marvel Studios to develop a spin-off pitch. It would be Woo leading a “SWORD-adjacent” series similar to X-Files where he investigate weird cases. Ford made the first to tweet that went viral this month.
“Uh. Wow. So. We might have actually opened some doors on my Jimmy Woo X-Files idea,” Ford tweeted Friday. “I’m spending the weekend writing the pitch. Can’t express how much of an underdog I am in this scenario so don’t get too excited but cross your fingers and thanks to everyone who made it possible.”

Going back several years, 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool with Ryan Reynolds was picked up after test footage was leaked and became a viral sensation. It caught the studio’s eye and they couldn’t spot from making it. Perhaps Woo will share the same result.
“An entire Disney+ show about Jimmy Woo just working weird cases in the MCU. Like a fun X-Files. Make it happen.”

Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo first appeared in 2015’s Ant-Man as Scott Lang’s parole officer. See him on WandaVision. All five episodes are now streaming on Disney+.
