When Crystal Dynamics announced its new Avengers adventure game last year, the game character designs weren’t well received by fans. They looked more like high budget cosplay costumes with Captain America looking more like a police officer in riot gear who happened to have a Cap cowl. Now, a new video shows how the game would look like with the stars we’ve been watching for more than 10 years. Deepfake puts MCU stars faces into the game. Check it out below.
The characters actually look pretty good though it did make me miss seeing Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johansson as part of Earth’s mightiest heroes again.
Evans, Johansson, and Downey look good. Almost like their live-action counterparts. I know there are different character skins you can choose from, but I still can’t get over “riot gear” Captain America.
The video comes from Youtube channel BabyZone. The Marvel’s Avengers video game, unfortunately without the MCU faces, is set to release on September 4. You can try the beta version now.
