Jennifer gets her paralegal to look up Wong’s identity while she’s driving. She then addresses the fourth wall about cameos in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, and how the show now has Wong, Emil, and Bruce. She then reminds the audience just whose show this is.
After the opening title, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3 cuts to Los Angeles TV news. Various channels start talking about Jennifer taking on the world of law. Social media feeds are displayed people complaining about female superheroes.
Jennifer enters her law office in her Hulk form. She brushes off the social media circus. She then gets a call from Holliway to meet him in his office.
Jennifer enters Holliway’s office to find Holliway but also Dennis, her old colleague. Also entering the room is Mallory Book, another member of the Superhuman Law Division. Dennis refuses help from both of them as he has embarrassing man stuff to discuss, prompting Mallory to leave.
Holliway informs Jennifer that Dennis is being defrauded by an ex-girlfriend. He plans to sue this woman to get his money back. When questioned about why Jennifer should take this case, Holliway states the girlfriend is a Light Elf from New Asgard.
Dennis admits that the girlfriend was a shapeshifter who convinced him she was rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Jennifer smirks at Dennis for being this dumb. After a brief smirk, Wong enters the room via a magical portal he conjured.
Jennifer states she needs to leave promptly. She takes Wong back to her office where he explains his case for why he had to abduct Emil. He then attempts to find an easy way to deal with Emil, recommending sending him to either the Mirror or Shadow Dimension.
Jennifer, however, wants to do this the legal way. She recommends Wong come to court and explain everything. Wong agrees, stating he’ll save his magic as a last resort.
Meanwhile, Dennis discuses his case with another lawyer. He explains how he lost $175,000. After leaving the lawyer’s office, the lawyer looks at the Light Elf’s YouTube channel of deceiving people.
Dennis then promptly returns and says he wants to drop the case. His behavior has changed almost completely. The lawyer then gets a call from Dennis. The Dennis in the room is the Light Elf shapeshifter. She leaves after being found out.
Jennifer returns to prison in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3. After making her way through the news crew, she attends a parole hearing for Emil. The board feels this case will be quick.
Jennifer states she has a witness willing to make a statement after Emil gives his own. The board asks if Emil has been rehabilitated. He chooses his words wisely about how he focuses on redemption and how that changed him.
Jennifer backs up Emil by explaining his future plans for a meditation retreat. The retreat will be funded through Emil’s soulmates/penpals. He motions towards the cult of women attending the parole hearing as well.
Witnesses are called from the prison and how much of a positive effect he has had on the guards. The board then brings up the escape. At the same time, Wong finally shows up to the hearing. He starts his statement by bringing up the Kumite.
In a courtroom, Dennis is currently engaged with the case against the Light Elf, Runa in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 3. Diplomatic immunity is used as a defense and denied. Dennis’s lawyer remains firm that the elf must pay for damages incurred.
The judge finds it hard to believe that Dennis could be so oblivious to thinking Megan Thee Stallion would date Dennis. The judge ultimately rules that the case cannot be dismissed. He then leaves the court.
The judge quickly returns, however, and says he has changed his mind about the case. Dennis notices Runa is no longer in her seat. Runa’s lawyer eventually tells her client to drop the act as impersonating a judge is illegal. Run leaves the stand as the bailiff chases after her.
Wong’s statement is that Emil was forced out of his cell and offered another chance. Jennifer backs him up that Emil’s voluntary return is grounds for his release. The board once again brings up that Emil might not be in control of his Abomination form.
Emil offers a demonstration to prove himself. He transforms into the Abomination in his cell, frightening everybody. Emil then speaks as the Abomination stating he’s in full control.
Jennifer shouts at Emil to go back to his original form. He does so and Jessica immediately starts apologizing for Emil’s brash decision. She also brings up how easy it would be for him to break out if he wanted to, favoring calmness over anger.
The board adjourns to consider all facts. They also recommend that Wong be arrested for committing a prison escape. Wong departs quickly with his magic.
Outside the prison, the news crew and protestors ambush Jennifer. She later talks at a bar with her paralegal, having all the social media rumors read back to her. She is soon joined by Dennis who gets a great idea to use Jennifer for his case.
The next day in court, Jessica is placed on the stand and is questioned about Dennis’s personality. Jennifer reveals many embarrassing personality aspects of Dennis. After bringing up much laughter, Dennis’s lawyer asks if Jennifer finds Dennis to be egotistical.
The lawyer states he has no further questions. The judge then rules in favor of Dennis and that Runa needs to pay for damages. The judge also says Runa needs to serve 60 days in prison for impersonating a judge.
After the trial concludes, Dennis thanks Jennifer for her help. He also brings up how he wishes he could just take away Runa’s powers. This gives Jennifer a great idea for her own case.
Back at the prison, Jennifer and Emil meet with the parole hearing once again. The board rules in favor of his release. The only stipulation is that Emil is forbidden to turn into Abomination and must wear an inhibitor to prevent transformations.
Emil thanks, Jennifer. Jessica accepts as long as Emil stays out of the news. Emil, however, states that Jennifer will be in the news anyway.
Jennifer later appears on a news program, correcting the interviewer that she doesn’t want to be identified as She-Hulk. She stresses how some random guy on the news chose that title for her. The broadcaster then goes to commercial before stating Jennifer will return with her workout and diet secrets, prompting a confused response from Jennifer.
At night, Jennifer returns home but is ambushed by the Wrecking Crew. She is terrified until she realizes she can transform into a Hulk. She grows large and tosses her attacker off of her.
