Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4 earns 13 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series. The streaming platform released the current season of their sci-fi hit series just in time to be eligible for the 2022 Emmy Awards. The nominations were announced Tuesday morning and Stranger Things was mentioned on several occasions. The series, which just concluded its penultimate season, continues to be a powerhouse among fans which makes it a true contender for awards.
While Stranger Things was nominated for multiple categories, none of the actors in the series were nominated. A subject that fans are slightly frustrated about. Especially with performances by Sadie Sink who plays Max in the show. Her character plays a big part in Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4.
But the series was recognized for its makeup, direction, editing, and stunts. You can check out the full list of Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 4 nominations below.

It took three years between Stranger Things Season 3 and Stranger Things Season 4. Fans are now wondering when the fifth and final season will release. Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer answered that question during an interview with Collider.
“It depends who you ask,” Stranger Things co-creator Matt Duffer told Collider. “That’s what we’re still figuring out. If you ask our AD, and our line producer, they want more time for production. Our post-production supervisor wants more time for post-production. So it’s going to be a big discussion. How long does everybody get? Here’s the thing, the more you shorten production, the more you shorten post-production, the more things get compromised.”
“It’s just the balance of, ‘Okay, how much are we willing to compromise to get the show out sooner? Is it more important to give everybody the time that they need to get this right, without being indulgent?’ I’m sure we’ll figure out what that line is, but my whole thing was I was never super worried,” Matt added.
